The West Second Ring (North) Expressway is the section from Xiaotang to Maoshan of Guangzhou Ring Road. It is an important part of Shenhai Expressway and Guangzhou Ring Expressway. It spans two cities, four districts and seven towns, and starts at Xiaotang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City. It stops at Jianggao Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, passing by Xiaotang Town, Guanyao Town, Heshun Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Southwest Town, Leping Town, Sanshui District, Tanbu Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Jianggao Town, Baiyun District . The total length of the route is 39.126 kilometers. It adopts two-way 6-lane expressway standard construction, with a roadbed width of 33.5 meters, a design speed of 100km/h, and a post-increasing speed of 120 km/h. The total investment of the project is RMB 3,002,720,855 (the estimate approved by the Ministry of Communications, including the loan interest during the construction period of RMB 162,214,116). There are 4 ramp toll stations in Heshun, Tanbu, Leping, Guanyao and one service area (Tanbu service area) on the whole line.
